The majority of this guild was in <Exotic Goods Vendor>. The guild lasted about 8 months and we were able to clear Karazhan as well as do a joint killing with Bloody Reavers on High King and Gruul. That didnt last very long due to me thinking they needed us alot more then we needed them. As you noticed I said "me thinking".

We really didnt have a GM in EGV and it was always a touchy issue with many members when it came time for direction with the guild. A couple of members (Acidicbox, Tmbrland) took it upon themselves to try to get organization going in the guild. We were going good there for awhile but without a GM or people stepping up, guild members became hostile and seemed happy just being where they were in the game. Recruitment was low and when we did pull people along it seemed they were never able to fit in a raid and getting two groups off the ground wasnt working so people had to sit out and not raid. I started getting very frustrated with where I could see the guild going. At this point we were losing members that were with us at an alarming rate and it seemed that everyday was a hostile day in the guild. I wanted to do nothing but get progression going and people excited to be in a guild and raiding. My attempts at doing this were instantly takin as a hostile act by people who would have rather not raid and just sit on their butts. I was told many times "you arent the GM". I didnt care if I was or wasnt, our GM hardly logged in and from what I could tell never really cared.

I finally decided to state to people if you arent an active raider we have no use for you in this guild. The people who didnt want to raid and could really care less about progression QQed all day. During this time Acidicbox who was our other self made leader type person was transerring bases from Germany back to the US so he wasent around as much and a couple other officers that we had were having personal issues. I noticed that if something wasent done soon that we were going to lose everyone to God knows where. Those members have yet to return but I took what we had left and who actually believed in my ability to lead the hell outta there and started <Ultimatum>.

The guild name came from one of the officers that didnt care much for my leading style and created a post called Ultimatum and bashed about how I basicly said "look, raid or get out" as his time to leave due to his lack of participation so I registered <Ultimatum> on the guildomatic website on 9/23/07. I started getting our forums and guild structure together and working out our raid times and such. The first 2 weeks were rocky tryin to get the few people we had at the time online to raid. We only downed Attumen and Moroes the first week in Kara. Next week we added Maiden and Opera to that. Then Curator and Chess and finally in our fourth week a full Kara clear. At this point we are working on recruitment which is going great. I am very excited about our initiates and wish us all great success in loot gathering to help us down bosses, our only goal.

I think that our jump to 25 mans is right around the corner. As for Zul'aman if we are geared enough to run it when 2.3 comes out we will, if not on to those 25's even earlier. I hope you all stick around well into WotLK when the <Ultimatum> race to 80 and progress into the new end game raid content leaves other guilds wishing they were with us and not hating.

Ultimatum prepares for WotLK. People who the guild never thought they would lose are no longer with us. These people for their own various reasons such as a dislike for me or a chain reaction of WOW friendship have left us where we currently are. Some even because they wanted to see nerfed end game raid content... I am glad that those people can find the completion that they needed. However, Ultimatum does not find pride in killing bosses that a group of pugs in blues can now complete. Nor would be even promote the guilds level of completion of those bosses as progression or brag about it as others have. We were 5/9 BT before the patch and 5/9 after the patch. We are proud of what we acomplished. Not what Blizzard wanted the entire community to view before the expansion. Some people fail to realize this...

Ultimatum has cut down its main ranks in the guild and for the first time are allowing casual members into the guild. We will have ranks of Member and Initiate for our core guild unit. All current guild members at this time will be granted the rank of Member. For more information regarding Ultimatum you can click this link to view our Guild Charter.

Ultimatum has stood by its goal "Committed to End-Game Progression" this will be the driving force that carries us into WotLK. Where we end up is unknown but wherever that is I know that I will stand with anyone who continues to wear our guild tag and represents us with the respect that we deserve.

We do wish all of our past guild members luck in WotLK. We hope that you find what you were looking for.
